Living on a llama farm has been rewarding in many ways for Sharon Bolt. After being in the llama business for over 20 years, Sharon found herself enamored with their grace and beauty and became inspired to try her hand at painting. Beginning with acrylics, Sharon’s visions became a reality on canvas and she sold out of her llama paintings in only twenty minutes during her first show.

During the months of March and April, the Wheatfield Library is proud to display Sharon’s works on the library’s art wall. From rustic mediums such as barn lumber to sweatshirts, t-shirts, deer scenes on saw blades and other murals, Sharon’s works convey her creativity; creativity that relaxes her and relieves stress.

Sharon says, “I consider myself an amateur, not a great artist, but, if God gives you a talent, you should not let it go to waste, no matter what the quality or subject matter.
