As a resident of Lafayette, Indiana for the past 30 years, Marsha has been active in the Wabash Valley Artist's Association and has participated in many community organizations.

Although, a painter all of her life, it wasn't until she retired from Purdue University in 2007 that she found the time and niche to create to her heart's content and in many different mediums.

Tucked away in a small studio room in her house, she "plays" with those different mediums; but it wasn't until she started daily journaling with acrylic, that she discovered the process that opened her up to the most spontaneous and liberated voice to her creations yet without fear or regret.

If you can look at this body of work and see her muse and feel her moody passion, then she has succeeded in her goal.

This display represents who she is today as an artist with "contemporary moods". Painting in acrylic is her favorite way to push the boundaries and provide her with peace. Some days bring sunshine, some days bring rain. Her paintings are her moods of the day.
