Helping after Sandy

Tuesday morning as East Coast residents woke to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the pleas were already being made for blood donations, funds donations, and other ways for those of us who can to help our fellow Americans.

I love one stop shopping. It saves time and energy.

To be able to shop in a department store where I can find grocery items as well as household and other things I need is pretty handy indeed.

In some one stop shopping centers you can even sit down and eat or get a meal-deal to go.

Never a typical week

This week the library owes a great deal of thanks to a group of volunteers who count for us in very special ways.

Every year the library selects a week to conduct a count of our usage, using this "typical week" as a sort of survey for what our average usage is all year long.
