DeMotte Library signups going
on
through month of May
Kids in Preschool through grade 4 are invited to “Be Creative” this summer by attending the DeMotte Library’s Summer Reading Program. With the extra incentive of prizes and fun programs for kids of this age that are held in conjunction with the Summer Reading Program, children in this age group will be excited to read, read, read during the summer months.
“Be Creative @ Your Library” is the theme for this year’s program lineup, and entertaining programs will be offered each Tuesday at 2 pm. Registrations begin on May 1 and are open to age 3 through grade 4 throughout the month of May. Preschool children attending the Summer Reading Program must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Summer Reading packets, complete with the reading elements required to be eligible for prizes awarded during and at the end of the program, will be available for pick up at the library beginning June 1.

Summer Reading sign-ups at Rensselaer Library May 26-30
Kids, “Get Creative @ Your Library” this summer! Ages toddler through grade 5 are invited to come to the Rensselaer Library this summer, where reading books will earn kids the chance to win prizes as well as enjoy weekly programs that are fun and entertaining! Signups for Summer Reading will be offered beginning May 26 and running through the 30 th and are available online or by visiting the library. “Get Creative @ Your Library” Summer Reading packets, complete with the reading elements that are required to participate in the program and become eligible for prizes, may be picked up during the week at the library.
Prizes will be awarded for every 6 books read, and special programs designed just for the youngsters attending the program will be held each Wednesday at 10 am. A craft time will also be offered each Thursday at 3:30 pm. Toddlers signed up for the program must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Sign up for Wheatfield Library Summer Reading June 1-6
Kids who like to read and enjoy the summer fun of attending library programs will want to join us at the Wheatfield Library, where this year’s summer reading theme is “Get Creative @ Your Library.”
Open to children who have completed Kindergarten through grade 4, registration will be held the week of June 1-6, and will be available online or by visiting or calling the Wheatfield Library. Reading packets that contain the reading elements to participate in the program are available at the library, and fun, entertaining weekly programs will be held each Tuesday at 10 am.
Completing the required reading earns children prizes and makes them eligible for prizes that will be awarded through a grand prize drawing at the end of the program as well.
