Enjoy 30 minutes of reading, songs, fingerplays, and socialization with other 1 year old children and their caregivers. Each half hour long session of Lapsit Story Time consists of a variety of activities, such as music, stories, toys to play with and other fun movements.
To attend Lapsit Story Time, children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Only children signed up for Lapsit Story Time may attend.

Acquaint your 2 to 3-year-olds with the library and the love of reading by bringing them to Toddler Time. This special program consists of stories, songs, crafts and other fun activities for this age group.

Bring your youngsters in touch with the love of reading by coming to Story Time for 3-5 Year Olds at the Wheatfield Library. Story Time is a wonderful opportunity for your youngsters to become acquainted with the library.

Open to grades 1-4, this monthly educational program includes reading plus fun food and craft activities relating to the title. Registration is required and space is limited.
| Book Buddies Grades 3-5 |

Kids in grades 3-5 are invited to join us at the Rensselaer Library for our “Book Buddies” Book Club meetings, held every three months. We’ll all read the same book, and then discuss the characters and plot. Sponsored by the Friends of the Rensselaer Library, a free copy of each session's book will be available for those in attendance. Space is limited to 8 in attendance.
