Search for “Beanstack” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and follow the instructions to create an account for yourself or your family.

On the web

In your browser, visit and follow the instructions to register for yourself or your family, and get started.

Participants over 13, or caregivers can create accounts to track minutes and activities. Need help? Our staff can help get you registered and track progress online or in the app.

In-person / on paper

Just visit or call your closest library branch to register with a staff member. Pick up a paper tracking sheet at any location or use the link below to print a tracker sheet from home.

NOTE Group Registration: If you would like to register a group for the Summer Reading Program, please contact a branch for details.

How It Works:

First day to track time: June 8, 2021
Last day to track time: July 13, 2021
Grand prizes will be drawn on July 13.

Set a goal! How much time do you want to read this summer?

Read! Track the time you have spent reading or have listened to someone reading to you in Beanstack or on your paper tracker. Older children who read aloud to younger children may count those minutes.

Earn Prizes! Weekly prizes and tickets for the grand prize drawing are earned when you have read for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, and 6 hours. Earn extra tickets by reading different types of materials.

Grand prizes are specific to each location. You can only be signed up for one summer reading program.

To redeem prizes visit your library and show your Beanstack tracker or your paper tracking sheet to show your progress.

Minutes are not transferable between individuals.
