21st Century Treasure Hunting is at the Jasper County Public Libraries

Geocaching is treasure hunting using GPS technology. This is the sport where YOU are the search engine.

The Jasper County Public Library has geocaches (pronounced: gee-oh-cashes) hidden at each of its branches. We invite you to come look for them and take part in the fun!

Geocaching is FREE! To learn more about this sport, check out the official website at Geocaching.com.

There are 21,500 active geocaches in Indiana. In the first six months of 2024, 83,720,498 caches were found worldwide, the highest number of find logs ever recorded. There are over 3 million active geocaches worldwide.

If you hide it, they will come!
