If the winter ‘blahs’ have set in, fear not! The Jasper County Public Library has heard your requests for more movies & music and the time to enjoy them!

Beginning in January, the circulation policy at JCPL has been revised to allow JCPL borrowers to check out 5 DVDs, including entertainment, non-fiction & blu-rays. Entertainment titles can now be checked out for a one-week loan period. Non-fiction titles can be checked out for the usual 21-day borrowing period..

And, beginning in January, the ‘beat goes on’ at JCPL with a new circulation policy that allows JCPL cardholders to check out 20 CDs for the usual 21-day borrowing period.

Additionally, holds may be placed on all circulating materials at JCPL, so if there is a movie or CD, book, magazine or other JCPL item that is unavailable, feel free to place a hold on that item, and you will be notified upon its return to the library.

Is this news music to your ears? If so, bring your ‘passport to adventure (your JCPL card) to your local library, located in DeMotte, Rensselaer & Wheatfield, where the best medicine for those stubborn ‘winter blahs’ is more of everything that you enjoy!
