Adult Summer Reading
Being an adult doesn't mean you can't enjoy Summer Reading!
Cool off with a good book or take along an audio book as you travel or work around the house or yard this summer - from your local library - and enter to win prizes in our annual Adult Summer Reading Programs.
Beginning June 6 and running through August 1, the Rensselaer Library invites adults to check out books, ebooks, magazines, audio books and audio ebooks during the library’s “Exercise Your Mind: Read” Adult Summer Reading Program.
Each book, etc. read or listened to earns you an entry for the eight weekly prize drawings, so the more you check out, the better your chances of winning! Names for prizes will be drawn each Monday evening, and a Grand Prize Drawing will be held on August 1st. Stop in the library this summer and READ, Color, Create and have FUN!
Participants need not be present to win. For more information, visit the Rensselaer Library at 208 W Susan St., Rensselaer, or call the library at 219 866-5881.
Adults are invited to check out items from the DeMotte Library this summer and enter to win in a drawing for weekly prizes. Held June 6-July 30, this year’s adult summer reading theme is “Exercise Your Mind: READ.” There will be a SURPRISE prize bag giveaway each week! To participate, fill out an entry ticket for every item that you check out. The more you read, the better your chances of winning!
No registration is required to participate. For more information, visit or call the DeMotte Library at 987-2221.
