Adult Summer Reading 2015
Beginning June 1 and running through August 3, the Rensselaer Library invites adults to check out books, magazines, audio books and audio ebooks during the library’s “Escape the Ordinary” Adult Reading Program, and enter to win weekly prizes as well as a grand prize drawing, which will be held at the end of the program.
Each book, etc. read or listened to earns you an entry for weekly prizes and the grand prize, so the more you check out, the better your chances of winning! The grand prize drawing will be held on August 3.
Cool off with a good book or take along an audio book as you travel or work around the house or yard this summer, courtesy of your local library! For more information about the Rensselaer Library’s Adult Reading program, visit or call the library at 866-5881.
Adults are invited to check out items from the DeMotte Library this summer and enter to win in a drawing for weekly prizes. This year’s theme is “Escape the Ordinary,” and a winning entry will be drawn each Friday and winners called on Saturday. The lucky winner will choose a book from a basket and will receive a lunch bag filled with surprises. “Escape the Ordinary” begins June 1 and will conclude July 31.
No registration is required to participate. For more information, visit or call the DeMotte Library at 987-2221.
Being an adult doesn't mean you can't enjoy Summer Reading! Adults who borrow and read books (including ebooks and audiobooks) or magazines can enter our weekly drawing...that's one entry for every item read! So stop by, check out some reading materials, and get a chance to win! Program runs through July 18.
