Open to teens in grades 6-12, discussions planned for the 3rd or 4th Thursday every month, depending on how many weeks are in the month. Come and discuss books with fellow readers and discover other ways to connect to books you love, including food from books and activities pulled from the books you read.

Tuesday Night Movies at Rensselaer

This program is held at 5:30 p.m. -- usually on the second Tuesday every month. (In October it will be shown on the second Wednesday because of the Fall Festival).  A variety of movies, newly released to DVD, are shown.  Popcorn and beverages are served. This program is open to teens through adults.

Ages 5-15

Home-schooled students in the area are invited for a variety of learning activites, games and stories. Learn something new and interesting in a fun way. This NEW program will be held the third Tuesday of each month from 10-11 am.

On Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, bookstores, libraries and other vendors will celebrate the fourth annual Star Wars Reads Day, a fun day celebrating Star Wars storytelling.

Christmas Tree Walk

November 28 thru December 21.  Join us for our annual Christmas Tree Walk.  Patrons are encouraged to come and vote (canned/boxed food item) for your favorite tree, which will be decorated by area organizations. Donated items will be delivered to our local Food Pantry in time for Christmas holidays.  Happy Holidays!

Friends Drawing for Books

Kids Non-Fic November

All kids in K-8th grade are invited to join us for the whole month of November to check out Non-Fiction Books and get a chance to win a prize.

For each book you read you can get a ticket to enter for a chance to win some cool nonfiction books like:  Guinness World Records 2016.  

UFO & Mindful Coloring Group

Mon Nov 30, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Join us from 5:30-7 p.m (come and go as you can). Carve out time in your hectic schedule and come to the library to work on your unfinished craft projects, all while visiting with fellow crafters. We have also begun Adult Mindful Coloring.  Coloring Books and pencils are supplied. All ages are welcome.
