Historic videos of Rensselaer online

The nature of the Internet is that old things are always new.

For instance, recently a patron stumbled upon some cool videos made by Rensselaer Middle School students about the history of the town, apparently for a school contest.

Even though these videos are three years old, they are still new to us, and just as neat now as if they had just been made.

Moms are spot-on. With eyes in the back of their heads, 365 days a year, they are all-seeing, all-knowing beings whose sixth sense keeps children (and grandchildren) on the straight and narrow (for the most part).

Slime Time at the Library!

This year, reading isn't just a fun way to explore new worlds or earn fun prizes. This year, some lucky patrons will be able to SLIME A LIBRARIAN at the end of summer reading.
